Swallowing can be painful, when the cancer is big enough to block the bladder. The pain can be felt after some seconds after swallowing as the meal or liquid reaches tumors and cannot finish it.
Weight loss
About half of patients with esophageal cancer lose weight (without trying to). This happens because their swallowing problems keep them from eating enough to maintain their weight. Other factors include decreased appetite and increase in metabolism from the cancer.

Hoarseness, deviations, pneumonia, and high blood levels of calcium usually – symptoms of more progressing cancer of bladder. The cancer will sometimes bleed. If there is enough blood, stools can become black. It can occur also to other cancer formations and with small amount of good-quality (nonmalignant) illnesses. It does not always means that the cancer is present.
